Vancouver Olympics, day 6: "Bygones…"

View from the normal hill (HDR-image)

“Oli ja meni” – which roughly translates as “bygones…” into English. That was the commentary of Janne Ahonen today as he finished fourth in the normal hill competition. I don’t have anything to add. So I just post a view from the normal hill, shot from side of the olympic rings.

I added a selection of my work from the Vancouver Olympics to the sidebar on the right. I’ll add things as the  games move forward and with “Photos” I will try to do a daily update.

Very nice. It’s not that easy to get a great snow photo in HDR. This is a great shot. That’s an amazing view – what lens was this shot with?

Thank you for commenting. It was 16-35 2.8L on Canon 1dmk4. It’s been rain, rain, rain… for the first week. So frustrating…
